Classroom Assistance
Paraprofessionals work in classrooms performing a wide variety of duties which support the curriculum. These duties include:
- data collection
- filing, sorting, typing, copying
- assisting teachers during instruction
- work with individual students and small groups
- implementing procedures, protocols and interventions at the direction of the teaching staff
- preparation of classroom materials
- supervising students using the Plato Math program
- work with students with special needs, assisting with various functions
